I've been INCREDIBLY busy with moving to a new apartment, and now that I'm FINALLY settled in it's IML weekend. I wanted to take a moment to comment on the event.
Most people involved in the fetish community even remotely are familiar with International Mr. Leather, a group that comprises a good portion of my readers. Unfortunately, a good portion of people are nervous to attend such a large event. If you're in Chicago, come by and pay $5 for a single day pass to the vendor's mart. It's cheaper than a movie, and even if you AREN'T curious about kink you might still learn something useful.
Most booths are very hands-on, and it's good to be able to see things first-hand. Even if things don't particularly pique your interest, you never know when the information be useful - especially with future partners. If relationships are about compromise, the more you're aware of the more likely you will be to satisfy a partner.
